Insuring your jewelry is essential. It will allow you to wear your jewelry without thinking twice and protect you if anything is lost (stone loss or total loss), damaged, or stolen. We always recommend insuring items that are over $1,000 in value. In addition, we can recommend trusted jewelry insurance companies if you do not want to use your existing homeowner’s policy.
As a GIA Graduate of Diamonds, Scott offers appraisal services and can appraise any items you have to get them insured. For any item purchased from Rosnov Jewelers, there is no charge to write or update appraisals on that item.
For any item not purchased at Rosnov Jewelers, pricing will vary. Please contact us for further questions and quotes.
In the event that you need an entire estate appraised for tax purposes, we can assist you. Please contact us to provide details and make an appointment prior to coming in. We will be able to assess how long your estate appraisal will take at the end of your appointment.
Not only do we appraise jewelry for insurance purposes, but we will also purchase your old jewelry, diamonds, or precious metals (gold, platinum, and silver). We pay the highest prices in the area; we can also offer you an even higher amount in-store credit (in lieu of or in parallel to payment) if that is something you’re interested in.
We do not charge for appraisals when you are coming in to check the value of your item(s) for resale. We just ask that you make an appointment prior so that we can be properly prepared. Always bring your state identification with you if you plan on selling any items.
